Great Western Trail is another one of my absolute favorite board games to play. In this game you are a rancher herding cattle from Texas all the way to Kansas City. I know what you are thinking: this sounds so exciting!
As you travel across the map, you have opportunities to get more cows, build and use buildings, and choo choo your train around the outer edge of the map.
Your ultimate goal is to get the most points at the end of the game. With 11 different ways to score points, each time you play will be different than the last. I also find that randomizing the buildings that you can build also makes each playthrough unique.
