Hello!
I have ordered new graphics card on Amazon. The package I received contained a completely different graphics card, on top of that it had signs of usage with dust on the fans and scratches on the frame. The mailing box was sealed without any signs of being opened, however the box of the graphics card itself came without any safety wrap or seals. After that I have left a review of the product on Amazon and attached photos of the used graphics card. Then I contacted customer service and followed their instructions. They told me to send the graphics card back to Amazon. Upon receiving the graphics card I was told that I won’t get the money back because it was a different card. However, I don’t have another card, I returned the only card sent to me by Amazon. I was refused a refund and the card I’ve returned was disposed.
Our family are regular customers at Amazon, in the past month we have purchased goods for a total of $23.000 that we paid for with one bank card. Out of all the purchases we haven’t returned anything except this graphics card.
I need your advise

Hey Nat, sorry for what you went through. However, this is not amazon customer support. This is just a place where gamer talks about games. With that said, maybe you should call amazon and file a complaint.

Sorry to hear about this, never had an issue with Amazon but this isn't the first story of incompetence from them I've heard.

You said you contacted them but I don't know if it was via e-mail or phone call, apparently you have a better chance at success if you speak with them directly over the phone. Other than that the only thing that might help is calling your bank, I assume this was paid for via credit/debit card so you might be able to do something going down this route.

The thing is Amazon probably have a lot of scams like this so they're weary of giving out replacments/refunds and with the toal cost you mentioned it's probably raised red flags.

If you have in fact been using Amazon for years and are regular customers this might work in your favour as well. Keep the photos for evidence, make sure you have some kind of transaction statement for the $23,000 and if needed, kick up a fuss.

I'm sorry I can't give you any direct answers but this has worked for me in the past with ebay so hopefully you'll get some results on your end..
