Get ready to power those cities, it’s Power Grid time! In this game you build and power cities throughout a map in order to earn that cash money. You have a limited number of power plants that you can own, and there are different types of power plants available: coal, oil, trash, nuclear, and green energy.

Each round you must balance the money you have with the cost to build cities, power plants, and the cost of fuel. Power Grid is a lot of run to play, and a good introduction to slightly more complex board games.

OMG I love Power Grid! So many nights playing with my University friends, what a blast.

It's a hard game to get someone excited for if they've never played it. I mean...look at the box cover. I'd love to be a scientist turning dials on a power reactor, but others might not feel the same.

oh man, I'm a big fan of power grid as well! But definitely need to set aside an entire evening for this one
