This asymmetric board game is very interesting to play. At times, Root feels that every player is playing a completely different game than the others, even though there is some overlap in terms of board control. Every player plays as a different character that has completely unique abilities and interactions with the game board.
This is probably one of my favourite games after playing it once. There are definitely a couple balance issues but the whole game is really fun and there are some cool mechanics for each tribe
